What address source does the planner use?
For exact Great Britain postcodes we use Postcodes.io, a free independent service built from official datasets; it is not a government service. Full-address search and map-click reverse geocoding use Photon with OpenStreetMap data. Northern Ireland address and postcode searches use Photon because Postcodes.io's Northern Ireland data has additional commercial licensing conditions.

After optimisation, choose Google Maps from the route actions. The planner passes the addresses in stop order and divides longer routes into practical sections.
What navigation apps are supported?
Fastest Route supports Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze and OsmAnd. Links use readable addresses first and coordinates only as a fallback.

Yes. The interface is prepared for light and dark display.
Does Fastest Route operate outside the United Kingdom?
This version is intended for England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the UK's islands. Coordinates and addresses outside the United Kingdom are rejected before the route is calculated.
